Lost Dogs.Brilliant album or good to leave them out?

I have recently purchases the lost dogs album and have been listening to it constantly for 4 days now. I have only heard of a few songs on it like ledbetter and wash. Why weren't these songs on the album especially sad. Just wanted to know what the people think about it.

    I got it as a gift from the love of my life for Chirstmas, and I think it's brilliant. Not all songs 'fit' into an album at a given time, this is a great way of getting them out there without the need to conform at all. Isn't that version of "Wash" just phenominal...?

    first time i listened to lost dogs i was dissapointed and i did not listen to it for a month

    but monday i listened to cd 1 a some songs are just great,
    down is so awesome, really that songs gives me just a great feeling, similar to yellow ledbetter

    whale song, sad fatal and others are great to, but for me is down the highlight
    Isn't that version of "Wash" just phenominal...?

    dunno i don't really like that song, neither th eten version nor this one

    I think a lot of the songs are amazing. But many of them just don't "fit" musically on the albums they were recorded for. For example, Hard to Imagine is a big favorite of mine but I don't think it would have fit on Vs. Or that Yellow Ledbetter, despite its greatness, would have fit on Ten.

    Most times I love to get my hands on a new P.J. song. But honestly I could live with out Sweet Lew and Bee Girl. Sorry to say that.

    pearl jam's shit doesn't even stink. they sooo rawk.

    it's a nice addition to the collection of music for the hardcore fan....

    the cd set rocks....its got an incredible flow for songs that were released at totally different times

    I really think that all of the songs are great. I really like Education, black, red, yellow, whale song and I love the studio sound of Down.

    Come to think of it......I like all of the songs on both CD's.

    But I agree that they just don't flow with the albums, so I think it is really cool they put them out all together.

    There's my two cents.......

    I personally love it!
    As an old dude(well, only 24, but getting those songs for over 10 years), I am GLAD to finally have decent sounding recordings of them!

    that is all, I guess....

    thank god for lost dogs, "Hold On" by it self is worth the price of the cd!

    I cant believe some of them songs though man, Did eddie sit there and think"nah we wont put "sad" in there, thas a bit shit" No i dont think so, so what happened. Sad,Footsteps,hard to imagine,Wash(ok its on ten re-released),down,fatal and so many others are too good not to be on an album but as i write this i realize that they have and i will shut up now.
