Wrigley 2013, Bonnaroo 2016, now this... I’m sure there have been others as well. Just seems like every time they try to play an outdoors show, weather strikes

The weather was perfect for all of them. I think PJ play's outside so much it's bound to cause an issue here and there.
I saw AC/DC play through the thunderstorm once. Those dudes are/were hard core.... One of my top shows for sure

Bummer.
I hope PJ's gear is okay. It looks like some of those equipment cases got caught out in the storm!

My first PJ show would have been Cincinnati 2003, but Riverbend venue flooded because of constant rain that week, so it got cancelled. Feel your pain. Stay safe. I´m not postting a lot in here, but I use to get a lot of info so Im allways read the forum.
I´m only want to say about that night its that I think that PJ can´t come to Argentina an play in a Festival, less if its a shitty festival like Lollapalooza. They have to come all by themselves!!
I´ve see them several times and the best shows are when they play themselves. This happen before when they came to another shitty festival back in the 2013, and its really suck.
I'm angry because I spent the last money on the trip and I'm unemployed, I could not even see them play. In the trip of 700 km I broke the car, I had to arrive by bus, I had to pay for lodging, the entrance to the lollapalooza came out very expensive. I think it's not fair, because that festival is only to earn money, it's not about the music or the art or the bunch of lies they say, I sincerely expected more from a band like pearl jam, where we all know that they take decisions for those of us who are true fans of the band are happy with the deal.
I apologize if I offended someone with my way of thinking or with my bad English, but I think I had to say it!
I DO NOT WANT TO SEE MORE PJ IN A FESTIVAL !! PLEASE!!

PJ wouldn't play festivals JUST for the money. I get the impression that 1) they like that it's a way to reach music fans who aren't familiar with them already, 2) they like to meet all the other artists there, hang with them, maybe get ideas off of them, etc, and 3) it sometimes even allows them to play places that they would not otherwise play because they don't feel like the market justifies their own show - they don't feel confident about ticket sales there, and/or 4) It is a cheaper and easier way to play a big, hyped up show for their fans.
So I'm going to have to disagree with your overall assessment of festivals. I personally can't stand festivals and will likely never attend another one, but I still think it's good for the band to play one every once in a while for the reasons above.

Lollapalooza.com.ar has just announced how they are going to reimburse the tickets for the third day of the fest.
As of March 28th, reimbursement will be automatically granted to the credit or debit card you made the purchase for the tickets. AllAccess.com.ar will handle the reimbursments since it was the ticketing system.
The refunds will be for the full price of the ticket and also for the service charge. Those who paid for the 3-day pass will get 1/3 of the price of the ticket and 1/3 of the service charge.
Those who purchase the tickets in person will have to show up at the box office at La Rural, Av. Sarmiento 2704, C1425FGP, as of March 28th, from Monday to Friday, from 10 am to 7 pm, with the credit or debit card you made the purchase with, the wristband for the 3-day pass or 1-day pass, and the proof of purchase.

And I don´t saying that PJ its playing for money (of course they have earnings), I´m talking about what´s lolla became. A Festival for earn tons of money without care about the art nor the music. And I´m talking about the people behind the brand of "Lollapalooza".
But again, I´ts just my opinion.
