Mike McCready Scores 'Sadie'

Our very own Mike McCready wrote yet another film score! Today, Deadline released an exclusive look at the trailer for Megan Griffiths' Sadie.
"Sadie" tells the story of a young girl dealing with the prolonged absence of her military father and struggling to understand her family life without him.
Aside from the film score, Mike also wrote a song entitled "Show Your Colors" with Molly Sides and Whitney Petty of Seattle up-and-comers, Thunderpussy.
"Sadie" will be making its world premiere on March 10th at SXSW in Austin.

We're so excited to unveil the first video in our new series! This WOMEN IN FILM piece focuses on the fact that our production was made up of 50% women--more than double the industry norm. This didn't happen by accident; it was a priority for our whole team to not only seek out skilled female crew and department heads, but also to hire up and coming young women for our PA and intern roles in order to nurture the next generation of female filmmakers. We're really proud of the gender parity on our set, and thrilled to share this first video on #femalefilmmakerfridayBentonville Film Festival which champions inclusion in all aspects of entertainment media.

Pearl Jam's Mike McCready composed our score, and says:"I think SADIE is really a cool story about a young girl and her struggles dealing with her family—and it's a uniquely northwest feel to it."Join our newsletter before the next issue drops Monday: sadiefilm.com/subscribe
