    with fiction time returned to students' truth
    like lilies fronting caskets viewed in rooms.

    marking the lines for patriots to join.*

    *August 1778 Battle of Rhode Island included 1st Rhode Island Regiment. Of 225 soldiers 140 were black soldiers of which 88 were slaves who would be given freedom, and their owners compensated, because they fought for the colonial army.
