Just recently discovered this song and it's quickly becoming
another one of my favorites.
Pearl Jam rules!!!
Anyone have any comments about "Wash"?

    Absolutely adore it.

    I can't have enough copies of it from the early days... one of the more underappreciated songs, I think.

    There are rarities I always felt should have made
    it onto the album, songs that always made
    me stop and really listen, seperate from even
    being seperate. This is one of them.
    It reminds me of a baptism.

    They played this live in Pittsburgh at the last tour!

    You guys probably already heard the story - there was this woman there with a white umbrella with the word "wash" painted on it. At one point in the show, Eddie says something about seeing this woman at a whole bunch of shows, so he asks security to bring her up on stage. He said something about "we're not going to do this again so don't anybody else try it," and then the band played Wash. It was really something.

    When I was in NY for the PJ shows it rained and I layed in bed staring out the window at the rain and that's all I could think of was this song.
