I thought Chase was the one who tried to kill Hamlin
Yeah, it was Chase Eliott, I saw yesterday that he won’t be running the next race due to a suspension.

    100% correct.  My journalistic error...

He did get suspended!  Good.  Like Hamlin said, it's no different than what Bubba did in a previous race.

Yeah it was on NBC.  Blaney was good all through the playoffs.  My boy Byron had a stage win the last race but blaneys car was just too fast in the end.  His car seemed to get better at the end of the races.

I was meaning to write in here but got caught up.

The playoffs were fun to watch.  Byron had a 30pt advantage over the last spot that disappeared almost in the last race to decide the 4.

Harvick is retiring too.  He was always a class act.

  • Suarez!
He and Baldwin are the guys I root for when watching with my son.  Great start with Baldwin finishing just behind for 2nd last week and Suarez winning this week.

Congrats to team Jordan and Tyler Reddik the win.

Watch the last 2 laps at Talladega to see the action of what happened and a STUPID move by McDowell.

Corey Lajoie finished the race on the cars SIDE!

You have to watch it and the follow ups. Crazy ending.

My boy Byron got 10th in all of this.

Michael Jordan was a very HAPPY car owner.  Nice to see him out there at the track.

Looks like some poor bastard got smashed under Busch when Busch got punched.
Gotta figure Stinkhouse knew he was gonna pop him one the whole time.  Just waited....and then 💥.
    Suck it, Busch!

Who the hell is Austin Cendric?  Blaney runs out of fuel on the last lap while leading the race.  Cendric slides into a very comfortable 1st place win for Penske.  Congrats!

I have slacked on this but need to catch everyone up...

Next week is the last race to decide the championship.

The last oh, 50 something laps was amazing.  My guy Byron had a nice comfortable lead to make the 4th place for the cup race.  Well....

He pitted and got only 2 tires to get better track position.  He had that for a good while then the cars that got 4 tires stared passing...  Then guys whom were out of it started competing for the checker and would catapult them into the finals.

Last lap.  Byron has the #4 spot all locked up until Christopher Bell whom is vying for a spot, the final one that Byron has by 1 point.  Bell needs to get around Bubba Wallaces #23 car.  He floors it going into the last turn, gets loose into the wall but still on the throttle, rides the wall, comes off the wall but passes Wallace to get the extra points needed to leapfrog over Byron and his 2 aging tires.

Well.  NASCAR decided to change the rules after Ross Chastains move a few years ago that helped him get into the Cup playoffs.  No more riding the rail.  About 30 minutes AFTER the race Bell gets penalized and Byron gets in.

So the controversy w this is that its to be believed that other cars set up a blockade so Bell couldn't pass.  Its also believed that they had to have a Bowtie Chevy in there.

Blaney, Logano for Ford are in. Reddick for Toyota and Team Jordan 23XI racing is in.  Good for them.  Hendricks w chevy and Byron are in.

Should be a great race come Sunday!!!

today’s NASCAR is just too vanilla.

saw a 30 for 30 on Janet Guthrie…didn’t realize she jumped into NASCAR and was pretty good and earned the respect of (most of) the good ol’ boys.

Shirley Muldowney is another trail blazer.  Check her story out.  It’s drag racing but still a great story.

cha cha had a great team, I think. lack of a money team held janet back. she couldn’t get up to qualifying speed in her first attempt at indy but aj foyt let her drive his backup car and she turned laps that would have put her in the field….but it was the car, not the driver, who qualified and aj couldn’t just “give her” his backup car.

That is the thing with these "little teams".  They have talented drivers but not the equipment.  It costs a ton of money to make a car in NASCAR.

So the race season is over.  Congrats to Logano for his third cup championship.  His teammate almost caught him to take that chip away.  My boy Lord Byron finished a distant 3rd.  They didn't have enough top end on the straight ways to catch up.

Props to 23XI racing for finishing 4th in owner points.  Those guys are the little engine that could out there.  Small potatoes among the giants.  9 points separated 1st and 4th in owner points.  5th was in the far away distance.

Fun season.  That kid Hocevar will end up w ROY but if he doesn't stop wrecking people he won't have much pf a career.
  • Not nearly enough talk about the pace car wrecking. I’ve never seen anything like that. Could have been real bad.

omg ! i FORGOT TO MENTION THAT!!!!  Michael Jordan got a kick out of that.  I'm pretty sure they kicked him out of driving it for the rest of the day.

You know it's bad when the "safety Driver" crashes, lol.
