Recent appreciation for UNDONE

I always thought Undone was okay, a little generic sounding. But over the past couple of months I've listened to it a bunch of times and have a new appreciation for it.

I was making a mix CD/ipod playlist to hype myself and my friends up for the election, and included Undone in the "positive" CD (it's 3, and the first 2 are anti-Bush, and anti-War songs). I mean, if the lyrics weren't so mumbly, Obama could have used it as his rally theme song this year!

Come on! And it was written in '02!

    I love this song. Along with Other Side and Down...they are a lot better than many of the songs that made it onto "Riot Act."

    You know, I really love that song. Along with Down, it's a shame that they didn't get on RA, but honestly, they didn't have the feel of that album.

    I enjoy Riot Act a great deal, but you can't tell me Other Side, Down, and Undone aren't better songs than Help Help and Bushleaguer.

    Why are Republicans such sore losers? The fact that President-elect Obama put such strict rules on lobbyists in his transition team is good proof that he is the right man for the job as opposed to the man who asked a woman to be his VP just so he could try to wrangle up more votes.

    I think the words are most fitting for the new administration too, Steve.

    The verson of Undone on Lost Dogs, and the version on the Australian Import, "I am mine" single are notably different.

    I like the version on the Australian Import, "I am mine" single much better. The distorted guitar solo is so cool. And on the Lost Dogs version, they washed it out which is too bad.

    If you are posting this thread based on the Lost Dogs version, and hadn't heard the version on the Australian Import, "I am mine" single, you're in for a treat when you hear it.
