Anyone homebrew? What's in your fermenter or keg currently? I'm currently fermenting a Bourbon Barrel Porter.

I do! Currently on tap is a kolsch I brewed for a local home brew competition and a Imperial Ipa. Fermenting I have a grisette, a session ipa and an oatmeal stout. 2 different pilsner lagering!0

It seems like it could be a fun habit to pick up. But I suspect it is fairly costly as well. I've seen copycat recipes for Zombie Dust and 2 Hearted Ale...that was almost enough to make me try it, but I was then afraid of the disappointment."A smart monkey doesn't monkey around with another monkey's monkey" - Darwin's Theory0

I have two IPAs that I dry hopped last night- one with galaxy hops and one with mosaic. Bottling day is this weekend! I’ll also be opening my previous batch which contained citra and centennial.severed hand thirteen2006: Gorge 7/23 2008: Hartford 6/27 Beacon 7/1 2009: Spectrum 10/30-31

I just cleaned out two corny kegs of IPA and planning on making a NE style IPA next.

I just started brewing a few months ago. Love it, a lot easier than I thought it would be (although I’m doing extract and not all grain so far).
Did the first few batches in bottles and came out great. Tried a keg and used priming sugar with no problem. But did my first batch in a keg with forced carbonation and seems to be completely flat.
Had it about 10psi got a week and nothing. Cranked it up to 20 psi 3 or 4 days ago and still seems very flat. From what I’ve read it should be carbonated by now.
Checked for leaks and can’t find any. There’s definitely pressure in the keg. Is this normal, am I just being impatient? From what I read it sounds like it should be ready to drink by now.0 -
Yes. Have not had much good luck though lately. Brew hoppy IPAs but the last couple batches have not been good :(

A friend of mine made some home brew root beer one time. Something went "wrong" and it turned into hard root beer. It was great!Several years later, when I was in college, a roommate made some home brew in his closet. He gave me a bottle to drink and it was quite tasty- only that one bottle knocked me right on my ass!I'm thinking home brew of any kind has to have more kick that store bought!"It's a sad and beautiful world"-Roberto Benigni0

I'm curious to try this but figured I would just give myself a headache. It would be nice to be able to brew a pale ale every once in awhileRemember the Thomas Nine !! (10/02/2018)

My grandpa made wine....they had a farm in Southern IN and grew grapes.
Grandma's grape jelly and grape juice were delicious but the wine tasted like straight up vinegar.Remember the Thomas Nine !! (10/02/2018)

Another neighbor, growing up, an old Italian guy used to make wine too.
I remember drinking a bottle of it for Easter one year about 15 years ago. Holy shit--I was fucking wrecked. That thing must've been all alcoholwww.myspace.com0 -
