Need help with an Eddie quote!!!!

Wasn't there a show (probably solo, or a festival type thing?) where Eddie said "It'll be nice when we won't have to play these songs anymore" or something like that, after one of the anti-Bush songs (Here's to the State maybe???).

Does anyone here know the exact quote and when/where it was? I'm putting together a mix-CD set of anti-war/protest/election motivation songs and wanted to use it in the cover art. Obviously there is a ton of Vedder/ Pearl Jam on it. Probably going to include the Undone lyrics in the cover art as well.

    He said "something" similar at Chicago 2 (solo), but that probably isn't what you are talking about. Are you looking for the specific show, or just somewhere he said something similar?

    Nah, don't need the specific show, just the quote and a rough estimate when it was said. "2008" will do just fine. :)

    It's a stretch, but do you mean when he was explaining the history of the lyrics to Here's to the State and he says perhaps someday his daughter will have lyrics of her own, but hopefully she won't have to??

    You're talking about Eddie solo at the Bridge School Benefit in 2004. It was after Here's To The State:
