Aug 8th Seattle Show - a celebration of life for me

On August 8th 2003 I had surgery that saved my life. I suffered from endometriosis for many years before it became so invasive that, had I not had a complete hysterectomy and all the wayward endometrial tissue removed, I would have died of kidney failure within two weeks. I cannot think of a better way to commemorate this momentous day in my life than to see a band that has given me so much comfort and joy over the years AND to see them in their hometown. I am extremely thankful that I was able to get tickets through 10c for both the Seattle shows. I would love to hear "Of the Girl" at one of the shows because it's such a beautiful song and doesn't get enough attention (though I will be singing "Alive" extra loud this day). 

*I'm not super active in forums of any sort because I have social anxiety but all the PJ fans I met at Wrigley 2 years ago were great and this feels like a safe place*

    I don't usually have any response to song requests but I hope you get your song because you are ALIVE and that is a great reason to celebrate!  And "Of the Girl" is a fave of mine too so I'm good with that ;) 

    Congratulations on another 14+ and counting years of life!  Wishing you 100 more!
