What do you guys think they chose Arc as the title of their song to those lost at Roskilde? I am curious about the symbolism here. Would much appreciate your thoughts.

In all honesty I doubt we'll ever really know what they had in mind. Lol, no one really understands anyone else. When I listen to the song Arc (and btw I never knew until this moment that is was written for them) I always thought it was a solum (whoa sp?) celebration for something.
As for loveboat captain...now that one i dont get.
or something like that anyway

i was diggin aroundin a used bookstore with back issues of mags and found the rolling stone with the headlind
NINE DEAD AT PEARL JAM CONCERT.....
i got goose bumps, and saddened and obviously bought it..
the article is garrish and eerie, really sad........
lost nine friends well never know......................
i think the "keyboard reaffirmation" lyric is a vague reference to the media and its role in our society. its a computer keyboard. deep, eh?

And no one makes me close my eyes
So I throw the windows wide
And call to you across the sky....
Hmm yeah. But what does that have to do with Arc?! That's a different song obviously..
Arthur C. Clarke observed once that the number of stars in the sky is roughly equal to the number of human beings that ever walked the earth. So that each soul has its sun. Kinda neat. I like that too.
Im curious to know the source that acronym.
I remember that too. But it could be just the interpretation of another fan. Whatever the reason, the title is definitely Arc.
~ is your Pearl Jam cup half empty, or 1/2 Full?
where are you going with this train of thought?!

'lost nine friends we'll never know, two years ago today'
Puzzled as to why Boom would be involved in a song tributed to the victims but never mind.
"No matter how cold the winter, theres a springtime ahead'
that´s definately right but arc could it be, too. no one knows
to see if i still feel,
i focus all the pain,
the only thing that´s real...
