Do you have better odds of getting tickets if you put a show as your first choice?

Just looking at my ticket history, I have always gotten my first ticket choice even when the odds have been low.  

Is this luck or is your name put into the drawing more times based on the importance of your pick?  Thanks for any info!

    First picks are drawn first so you have priority over everyone else that put that show as a second pick or higher. Your odds as a first pick are usually much better then what number you are seeing.
