GA or field seats for short people

My wife and I are entered for Wrigley but she's worried if we get GA or seats on the field, she won't be able to see anything because she's short and will spend the whole night staring at peoples backs. Because of that I only entered for reserved but that could still mean field seats.  If you are short and lived this at a show, what's it like?  What are you doing?

  • Short = reserved and hope for side seats.
[My wife as well as yours....]

Floor seats behind GA suck for short people.  Had a few rows behind the GA at Wells Fargo (so a small GA) and she stared up at the tron the entire show.
I loved those seats, though, thought they were great for me!  ;)

Yeah that's what I thought.  I've been in GA before and thought it was awesome.  She didn't go that night.  I loved it (I'm 6'3) but it never occurred to me that it would suck for short people.

To be fair I'm 6'2 and concerned if I missed out on GA i'll end up in the field seats behind GA.  If I can't get into the pit I'd rather be in stands.  PJ might be supersmall but at least I can see above everyone's heads.

Agree but with my number I'm guessing I'll be field. In arenas I've had amazing seats side stage, but "side stage" here is about a mile away so they'l probably put me on field

It'll be interesting to see if TM's algorithm's consider back floor better than stands.    I prefer the other way, but in my experience at areana's TM's computers think any floor seat is superior to any other section :(
  • same deal here ... i'm short. i've put in for reserved seats and hope i don't get field seats as id imagine most of this section will be on there feet the entire run, and ill be STUCK behind someone here

As a fellow short person, I commiserate.  I have been very fortunate, and only placed in mid-floor at Philly I 2009.  Had back of floor at MSG 2011 shows, but was on the risers.  I did GA once and gutted it out for rail.

Basically, accept the cards you're dealt and enjoy it.
