Long time fan. 20 plus shows.
I’ll say something and probably get killed for it.
While I don’t think 125 bucks for a show is too expensive and I want to support the band, for 125 bucks, I hope they stick to music from 1990-2002. I know it won’t happen, but at roughly 30 songs a show at 125 dollars you end up paying approx $4.15 a song. $4.15 to listen to clunkers “Just Breathe” or “Sirens” is outrageously expensive.4/30/03 7/8/03 7/9/03 7/14/03 9/28/04 9/29/04 9/15/05 5/13/06 6/01/06 6/02/06 6/24/08 6/25/08 6/27/08 7/1/08 8/4/08 8/5/08 6/8/09 5/19/2010 5/20/2010 5/21/2010 6/22/2011 10/25/2013 8/5/2016 9/2/20180 -
PJ doesn't seem to do it a bit different. Many other bands used tiered ticket pricing. Super expensive VIP packages up front, then fan club tickets, the regular price close(ish) tickets, then they get cheaper the further back you go. Even at GNR which charged $250 for the floor/close sections, only charge $50 for the back of arena.Poncier said:elvistheking44 said:Just picked up two tickets to see cheap trick and poison.....total with fees $65. Take that Pearl Jam!
In the interest of full disclosure we should also note Poison is charging $800 for front row meet & greet VIP packages and $600 for other VIP packages for good seats, Cheap Trick charging $550 for their VIP packages
So PJ underprices the close seats, and overprices the back ones. They kind of use average seat pricing, instead of tiered.

I would have gladly traded my 10club seats from Wrigley 1 in 2016 for seats in the first couple of rows of the upper deck. IMO the people that got those spots were better off than the people with slightly lower ten club #'s. Mine was kind of behind the cubs on deck circle, but way back. In the last row of my section.estarr31 said:
Hmm....that is concerning, especially not knowing seats until close to show-time. I would rather pay more for better seats on secondary market than win 10C seats for upper deck.Poncier said:tempo_n_groove said:
Maybe further back in the lower bowl but should not be any higher than that.riley540 said:Question,
ticketmaster has the price range of $92 - $112. It seems the 10 club prices refelect the $112 tickets. Does this mean we likely won’t be in the nose bleeds?
Appreciated!
They stated:
Reserved Seating: In order to accommodate more Ten Club members than ever before, please be aware Ten Club seated tickets will be spread further back than usual, and include some of the best seat locations in the house. For Seattle, Chicago and Boston this includes seats on the field, seats in the lower level of the bowl and seats in the front rows of the upper level. For Missoula, seats are located throughout the 100 level. Reserved seated tickets are assigned to members based on seniority in the Ten Club and will start closest to the stage extending back.0 -
I hope you get your tickets. Kick cancer's ass and we'll see you in August!sheri zona said:Y'all, I'm on my fourth, yes fourth, round of battling cancer. I put in my two choices and I'm hoping I get one. I wouldn't care if the tickets were $400 each....at this point I'm happy I have something to look forward to, and if I actually make it all the way to August, I'll be there with a big ass smile on my face. To each his own. Can't we just be happy our favorite band on earth is still touring?

100% agree. I've thought of that before. 8 months out, anything can happen. Its not like 10c wouldn't be able to sell them to someone else. So I'm assuming they just don't want the logistics of doing all that. I know they've always made them will call the day of just to prevent scalpers, but seems like there could be a system or app that allows transfer within 10c.kaw753 said:Now that I am in my early 40's, I have less of an issue with the ticket price and more of an issue with them being non-refundable. It is hard to know I can be in Chicago on a specific night 8 months from now. I would love to have the option to bail out and transfer to another 10C member at face value or have them go back into the pool and given to the next person on the lottery list.
Not a huge deal, but you aren't the only one whose thought of that. And in the end, how many dozens or even hundreds of seats go empty every show due to unforeseen circumstances? Win win for everyone to get those filled.0 -

Thank you for sharing your story. You are gonna kick some cancer ass and celebrate in August! Best of luck to you and keep up the positivity! :rock_on:2014: Cincinnati

I wouldn't even feel that bad about losing out on my money if they at least let me donate them back to the 10c and were resold for charity. I'd know they didn't go to waste and my money didn't just go to waste either. How is that not a win-win?kaw753 said:Now that I am in my early 40's, I have less of an issue with the ticket price and more of an issue with them being non-refundable. Somebody please close this discussion. It has passed the point of a rational discussion. We are breaking down how much we are paying per song? This is getting depressing.TheLongRoad said:Long time fan. 20 plus shows.

I look at it as paying $6 for songs like Corduroy, and a bargain of only $2 for Just Breathe.0

More like blasphemy. You don't think they're passing on savings? We can all agree that the tickets could be another $80 - $100 each if they didn't give a shit, but they do.tempo_n_groove said:

The thing is that I have bought scalped tickets from fan club members. Bought a GA ticket in LA 4-5 years ago and the guy said "Sorry, I need to pay for the tour."mace1229 said:

It was meant more as a joke than serious. I’m glad they are still touring.jpdannabelle said:

I use the bathroom and get a beer when Evenflow or Alive is played, so need to adjust some of those numbers.jpdannabelle said:

Backspacer is also a great album.0 -
If you add the cost of the beer during your piss break, even flow costs you about $12.I'm like an opening band for your mom.0

I would pay $12 more per ticket if they guaranteed they would play Evenflow before the first encore break every show so that people could take care of some things.RoleModelsinBlood31 said:If you add the cost of the beer during your piss break, even flow costs you about $12.0 -
Same. I’d appreciate a program that told us when even flow, small town, sirens and alive we’re coming up. I’m pretty busy and I have shit I have to get done.kaw753 said:

How many times do you have to see a song before you're tired of it?
I've been to 17 shows spread out over 20 years now, and any song I enjoyed at my first show I'd welcome at my 18th.0 -
Somehow I'm still cool with evenflow. Agree on the others. And add bettermanRoleModelsinBlood31 said:

It's a cool kid thing to shit on Even Flow. If you are in the pisser when it gets played you are missing one of the great Mike McCready solos. Your loss.
