You got me covered 2x, and smdevine covered me as well...gotta pay it back.
Very cool, thanks for grabbing. I was on a call, looks like the went quick! Moving today and tomorrow but will try to watch tomorrow morning just in case.
I have a Prague for the pool thanks to the drop today, @stones hit me up if you missed out. Happy to hold it until the picks are in.
PM sent. I really can’t thank you enough! It’s a big relief to know we have one for the pool, and obviously I’ll cover all costs. Seems I personally was cursed with the Prague poster. Sold out in minutes at the show despite me being in line for hours before the merch opened, then the 10c drop is whilst I’m on a plane!

This is an observation. How does the winner in the standings of this contest maintaining places #1 & #2 end up picking third? Seems unfair and disingenuous...
Of course. There is a charity contest. Charities and individuals are involved in the contest. An individual wins. The charities get to flip a coin for who gets to pick first and second? The individual who actually wins cannot place any higher than third. Were all the players initially notified the charities would place one/two and have previous contests proceeded in the same fashion?
The individuals who actually win are the people that Dave & Tom help everyday.
All players knew this was a charitable contest and Dave selected first when we did this for the 2016 tour.

Thanks for the view Gman. I am a bit disappointed in the outcome. When trying to get participants, this was sold more as a contest with a charity kick. Two of the three times this was done on past tours, winners picked and the leftovers were given to charity. After this tour end, it was revealed how the picks would go. This turned out to be a fundraiser, not a contest. I had passed on my Prague print with the thought I could replace it here, and maybe I still can - if it’s still around by 3rd pick.
It’s hard to speak up as it’s viewed immediately as uncharitable. Before anyone replies to that, please know I jump on lots of OYR fundraisers on fb and my tour buddy and I raised over $1200 for GTL with the O2 walk this summer. I’m not sure asking a question or stating an opinion should be viewed as dissing a charity. Simply stating the clarity would have been nice in advance. I totally enjoyed this contest and to have carried 1st and 2nd place from the start was pretty exciting. I kicked ass! Just didn’t know it would be rewarded with a 3rd place prize. lol
OYR is blessed to be a beneficiary of this event and the giving here. I have no other involvement or input. I'm more than fine giving up whatever positioning to make the participants happy. I'm suffocating in real life with trying to run OYR, work a full-time job, be a father, a husband etc so getting asked to come in here and add input - whatever you guys want to do. I'm fine. I'm grateful for all the giving and have no issue dropping down any positioning. Thank you all and enjoy the week
It is sad to have such positive actions be questioned by someone who had nothing at all to do with the efforts of so many -- through neither this tour, nor the many activities in the past that we supported E in his great work to help raise funds for causes he believes in.
Precedent has been established in 2016 the last time we did this -- so it is not as if this was a departure from how it was last done.
@smdevine - you helped and volunteered to get a poster from a show you were attending and I donated/entered for that show. I thank you for that. If you feel poorly about this I am sorry to hear that and I am happy to pass my pick to you, if you like. I know that I finished 4th but I would be happy to have you get it. (Thanks for the awesome job with the O2 walk this summer, that is so cool to read of!)
I did land a Prague and Krakow to provide to others and try to keep the good vibes going. Hoping to get Berlin & perhaps even a Roma for the group as well.
No one here should be pressured into giving up any picks
this was for charity 1st, and a chance to win some posters 2nd
it always was, and we made it official the last time we ran this in 2016 by giving dave the 1st pick
we will give the charities the first picks every time we do this
i’m sorry for anyone who misunderstood that

I’m gonna say this one more time and then I’m gonna let the horse RIP - NO issue with charity. In every contest before this one, it has been stated what the pick orders would be prior to contest. I don’t think it’s unrealistic to think that rules could be stated each time - particularly with such long periods between and when you have new participants.
@fme - I was happy to grab your entry, and I appreciate you grabbing the others as they’ve come along. I will also be trying for the Berlin. And please keep your pick - hope you get a good one! As stated, nobody should be pressured into giving up picks and that's not what I would want at all.
@dave and tom - Always in support of your charitable efforts and happy to see you continue good deeds. I will continue to support. You’ll also see support from philanthroprints - I am an admin there and speak highly of both your organizations.
The person speaking up on my behalf - I understand the confusion. I’m not sure why he shouldn’t have an opinion just because he hasn’t been involved before. I haven’t either. It IS a valid question and nobody should be squashed from asking a question by being made to feel uncharitable. Questions and transparency are always good, even in donation situations.
