Rows 1,2,9,10

sounds like no random lotto for these rows this go around?  I didn’t see any mention of it at least.

  • If you click on how to enter the drawing and then click on ticket policy it states:

    • For Pearl Jam shows that are 100% seated (no standing pit in front of the stage), tickets are allocated by membership seniority, with the exception of rows 1-2 and rows 9-10 which will be used for random allocation unless otherwise announced.

Good find. This makes Fenway a little more interesting for those like me with higher numbers.

I wonder , if rows 3-8 are TM verified fans...
I'd be shocked if this were the case.  I expect 10C has the best seats in the house, as they always have beforehand.

But if that was the case wouldn't we get row 1-4?

That's just the way they do it.  Rows 1-2 are random, rows 3-8 and by seniority, then another 2 rows of random.  The remainder of the seats are seniority.   I guess its a compromise between old and newer members.

I think 10C decided on rows 1,2,9,10 years ago to balance the new fans having an opportunity to win awesome seats without pushing the fans with low 10C #s too far back.  I think they've used this system for reserved seating shows since about 2008 or 2009.

  • I am getting it now. It's not only row 1,2,9, and 10 that are 10C there are more, it's just those 4 where seniority doesn't matter... Sorry English is not my first language. I had to read it a few times... my bad  :s

We've gotten so used to GA it's easy to forget how cool the 1,2,9,10 lottery is.

True...not to mention...I want to be close, but I also want to have my own designated space/seat.   There is less shoving, arguments, etc. most people are pretty cool in GA...but it always happens.  Youre standing there for hours, then the show starts, and all of a sudden people from the back start pushing up.
