So what are some of the best places to get an Italian beef sandwich that aren’t too far from Wrigley? The best looking place I found on yelp was The Original Mr. Beef but it’s almost a whole hour away according to my gps.
Yeahhh... original Mr Beef is in the far SW burbs. Here are several suggestions (I'm weird about Itl Beefs...) 1 - Johnnies - Not close to wrigley but its the best imo. But you prob don't want a 90 min RT... 2 - Mr Beef on Orleans (not my fav, but best closest to wrigley) 3 - Luke's - Its in the loop if your down there at all. Its solid 4 - Portillos - In river North... it's a chain, BUT..... its really good 5 - Bari - on grand ave. More of a deli, but really good beef 6 - Jays - nw side... lots of people say this is their fav. Its good 7 - Carms - On Polk. Really good 8 - There are others too (Al's/Buona) All in all, any of those on the list are good. Just google map them and figure out which is the most convenient... 95% of all pizza places have them too, there are hundreds of beefs in the city
First - Chicago, Illinois (March 10, 1994) * In Between - Chicago (9), East Troy (4) Champaign (1), Noblesville (1), Moline (1) Last - Wrigley (August 20, 2016)
So is it wise to enter for both types of tickets (GA & reserved) to make sure you get at least one? Some people are saying that if you win one you won't get the other, and other people are saying you could end up with a pair of both and be screwed. Which one is it?

You can only win one pair per show. So if you rank Wrigley 1 GA 1st and Wrigley 1 RES 2nd, and you get Wrigley 1 GA, then your RES choice goes away.

You cant win GA and Reserved for the same show.

Does anyone know the size of the GA pit this year? Did anyone think the GA was a little bit too big last year? I got very lucky and had GA tickets for both shows last year but it was a little insane, my wife had to go to the bathroom (I know) and she ran into 1,000 really rude, horrible people coming back to our spot. I have been in several GA pits and never had a problem, until both shows at Wrigley last year.

How are the field seats? I selected reserved seats as my number 1 option and I'm wondering if some of those lower bowl seats are better than the field seats. I had lower bowl in 2016 (NOT 10C tickets) and the view was pretty decent. I'm just imagining sitting in those field seats trying to look over the heads of everyone in the pit...
I put in for the lottery on the 18th. It will be a graduation present to myself for finally finishing even if I'm 44. Would love to do the 20th but the weekend would be easier for us.
