I was named after him (well, a song of his and him)—I know, @HesCalledDyer , lame!—so I figure I should see him once before he packs it up.
Well, at least you're not "vedkind."
  • the only thing i would have liked is less cheesy las vegas video during a couple of songs(only). i get that he is playing to a lot of grey haired folks who like casinos shows lol, and that he did reside in vegas for a few years doing shows, but imo, the cheese video was a distraction away from how great/powerful the 2-3 songs were. u end up watching the cheese video cause u can't help not to...
having said that. it's a fantastic show. 2.75hours. and every time i see him i am always reminded what a fantastic piano player he is and he had lottsa moments banging the keys like a madman across the water
    go see the show

I saw him in Vegas and loved that show. I was wanting to see him again, but he left his residency and he's playing nowhere near me.

Haha! Well, the convention runs in the family. My son is named after two musicians.

It's OK, though, Dyer. I've always been uncool.

Not looking good. I've had the "Searching For Tickets" spinny wheel screen up for 10 minutes now, which means they're gone.

I'll try again on Friday during the public onsale.

I saw him Saturday night in Dallas and it was so good!  My first time seeing him and he sounded and played great.  He's playing in Oklahoma next year and I would love to try to go, but I know it's a hard ticket to get.  I lucked out! I got my ticket the day of the show on ticketmaster! The ticket was marked as obstructed in the 200s level because you couldn't see the large screen or most of the band (it was the last section closest to the stage and sort of wraps around the screen), but I could see the piano and Elton well the entire time and we had our own screen close to us on the side.  They lowered the price to $59 plus fees and that was a hell of a great deal!

  • every time i see him i still get amazed at how good of a piano player he is. the dude is phenomenal ++
  • He comes back to Sweden for two shows next fall (in a much bigger arena, and in a different city than where I live this time :/ ) --- but should one take the chance to go?
