Wash, Memphis 2014. Ok technically they opened with Pendulum but if you were to take Pendulum as the default intro for many 2014 shows, getting Wash as their “first” song was special.

I’d like to see them go back to RVM and Whipping opening a show circa 94. 

I know MFC has opened before and just saw that the opening show of 94 was opened with Indifference!!

Ha.  It is actually 103 shows but I spent the first set of Philly IV 2009 in the hotel room with the Philly Flu until I saw Out of My Mind was played and I drugged up (with Tylenol) and got to the show.  Missing Bugs would have made me jump in the Delaware River. 

Saw one show in 1998, and one show in 2000.  Then in 2003 the traveling began and saw them every year until 2017 broke the streak.

Last Exit (Randall’s Island 1 ‘96), Hard to Imagine (MSG 1 ‘08), Crazy Mary (MSG 2 ‘03), I Am Mine (Albany ‘03), and Wasted Reprise (Albany ‘06).

I may be old school but my favorite openers are still Release and Long Road. I still yearn to one day see Oceans open a show.

I saw them open with ARC in Council Bluffs back in 03. The only time I ever saw PJ perform it live and a very cool way to kick off the show!

However, about your comment about back to back Once in 2016 (ten album show) i am convinced, that the 10 album show was supposed to be night one (not night 2).  They walked our to Master/Slave and opened with Once, then Evenflow....then they didnt play Alive, like they were supposed to.....not only did they play b2b openers (once) they played b2b second songs (even flow)....the ten show should have been night one.

true. Arc in Fargo 03 for me. only 9 times ever opening a show.
