Padova hotel question

I’m going to the Padova show and am wondering if people are planning on staying in Padova the night of the show or if they are staying in Venice. Someone told me it would be difficult to get transportation back to Venice at that hour after the show and wondered if anyone has any experience that would verify that. Thanks!

    Hi!
    I'm going to the Padova show and my friend and I are staying in Padova. We booked hotel Europa about a month ago and it seems that the most of the hotels are almost completely booked so better hurry up. :)
    Take a bottle, drink it down, pass it around...

    I will stay in Padova the night of the show for the same reason, and Venice the next night.  
    Lots of trains come through Padova going to Venice, but it looks like it could take some time to walk from the stadium to the train station.  My recollection is at least 30 minutes and perhaps closer to an hour.
