Glad to continue the vault collection. Nice packaging, pressing from RTI is their normal top quality. I was a little underwhelmed at the sound quality, extensive compression throughout and pretty loud. But again glad to continue the vault collection.

The Vaults are bar none the best packaging PJ has ever done. Love their aesthetic. It’s a package like this that make me love collecting records.

for those of us still waiting to receive their copy is it sad, depressing or just annoying that someone has this up on ebay for $140 already?

Haven’t listened to Soldier Field in a long time...

Release floored me. It truly did. That song means so much to me and it really sounds great on this release.

Hell, side A is just great. Anytime you can get Go, Last Exit & Tremor Christ in the first 3 songs you know you’re in for a treat.

    Love Jack’s playing. Enjoy, all.
    I LOVE MUSIC.

I was the exact opposite. I was wanting Release to sound great, but it didn't. So compressed and loud almost to a distorted sound. Maybe just my ears, but I thought the sound of this vault was only ok.

Only got to hear Side A so far but I felt the same. At first I thought I was just hearing the wear and tear on Ed's vocals at that point and time for that show, but as it moved on to Go and Last Exit, it did seem loud to me without much distinction and separation. I brought my bass up a tad which helped, but still not the best sounding vault in my opinion. Still happy to have it, and look forward to listening to the rest of the show. Jacks drumming is fun to hear.

The show sounds great but i miss Ed's between song monologues from this show. Some of his best.

I do agree this recording is a bit muddy, but compared to the old boot, this is light years better.
