    I had just read that Hartman, Reubens and Varhol wrote the screenplay for Pee Wees big adventure after reading the book by Fields "Screenplay".

    Neither had ever written one so they read and did exactly what was in the book and it worked, lol.  They actually use that story and film in screenwriting classes today as a perfect example.

    Each act is 30 min for 3 acts and a 90 minute movie.
