    It seems to be a sad song, doesn't it? The main character doesn't seem to be happy, and I sense there is a caged feeling, when there should be freedom. I mean it's one of Pearl Jam's saddest songs, it seems, isn't it?

    one of the best lyrics off that song!! But yes, Bibilobella, I could see what you mean by that song being sad too. The character seems disenchanted by everything around them and being pressured to be in this relationship, like 'enough you win, enough enough you won' i mean, it is like, okay, it seems like he is fed up with it.
