Alright this song needed it's own thread. OMG this song RULES! By far one of the best PJ songs out there. Those words, that message, that passion behind Ed's voice, that guitar and it's catchy riff that just digs into you....and THOSE DRUMS!!!!!

Yes, this song is fuckin awesome! Everything about it is awesome...everything. I really, really love how much Ed puts into this song. A lot of anger, agression but also a lot of heart...a lot of sincerity. It's powerful.

This song was a highlight at many shows for me this tour. NEVER will I tire of Grievance.

Thank you PJ! Thank you ED! Definitely one of your best buddy.

yeah same here Lyd, I NEVER get tired of hearing this song, and I think it came out at EVERY show I went to. Deeply grateful for that:D

Yeah totally. In summary I see it as technology taking over our minds and the government taking over our lives...but through it all we are FREE, we are told that we are FREE even though it really doesn't seem that way in the grand scheme of things. It's like "what is freedom?". Deep inside we know is "I am mine" ya know? We gotta hold onto to that. Nothing or no one can take that away so that is what we have to try and focus on even though there is SO much BS in the world.

Again, very powerful song.

i love the "raise the stakes" line, how then in the second chorus he says "sticks" like riot police or something....at least that's what it sounds like to me. quite cool.

Yeah totally chiqui!!

I also love the TB2K version of this. When Ed sings the "ramifications" part my jaw just drops! The man is FEELIN IT!!!! WOW! Soo angry! The intense Eddie that scares his bandmates makes an apperance on that part. Makes this song that much more to have so much power from him behind it ya know? Power you can hear, power you can see and power that you can feel.

it means everything, not just as a fan of music but as a way of living

if you don't have passion in everything ya do, what's the point? the boys know this and it pours out of their music, and this song is an excellent example of it.

That DRUM INTRO?! Oooooh lawdy (as Kaddikat would say). hehe.

Eddie, you done did it with this one. Pumps me up to the max. I even got a little dance for it too. Lots of pointing going on during the "raise those sticks them bring them down" part.

And hey, I got a point back from you during that specific part at the MSG show.

I love this song for many reasons........... if I could take any particular fleeting moment in a PJ song, and make it my favourite......it would be very hard,,,,,, but one of the contenders would be the moment when he sings the word "ramifications"............SOOO fucking intense.......

and Binaural contains alot of their best work ever.........
