    this song goes on repeat when its on, after hearing it, i cant get myself in a mood to hear any other song, i just want to hold someone's head deep in my arms (and no its not Nadia ;) )

    Ahhh it really is just soooo soothing. My god! I LOVE THIS FRICKIN SONG!!! :o

    Ed's voice and that music together is just soo relaxing. Those words too...the imagery behind them, I mean it realy does just put your soul to sleep and your mind at total ease.

    This is one of the most played songs on my Itunes, with damn good reason. It's one of the most beautiful/gorgeous/soothing PJ songs ever!! It's so pure. I don't know, it's just one of the best songs ever and it really needs to make a come back.

    Yeah that's what I always thought as well. I got these lyrics from Lukin.com. They are usually dead on with their lyrics but I agree with you, I always thought it was "Mind at peace within yourself" also. The sky I scrape has "mind at peace within your cell". Hmmm. Interesting.

    I remember buying the cd and record at midnight with my best friend at at the local record shop and letting the record play as I listened to it. This song makes me ball my eyes out everytime I hear it.

    I sing it to my 2 year old daughter all the time. It's like a lullaby that I feal is good enough to sing to her.

    Such a treat to see it being played live again. Not that I'm complaining, but it would have been a great closer to an amazing show like Benroya.

    This song is just pure ecstasy. It is sooo beautiful. Puts me in a total euphoric, relaxed state. I just love hearing that guitar slide along. There is so much detail in this song. You can hear everything so perfectly. Even Ed's extended "d" and the end of singing "Around the bend
    d". Every breath, every strum of the guitar. It's all so crisp and clear which just seems to add to the overall pure feeling of this song. It's wonderful! An acoustic guitar and Ed's voice?! :o These are the things dreams are made of. Soo peaceful.

    AROUND THE BEND is a dream come true.

    funny this thread is happenin' right now... this past week this song's been swirling in my head with all it's color and romance... very amazing and touching...

    I hear ya about the chills. I love how a song can be new to you over and over again, ya know? How it can constantly effect you in amazing ways. This is definitely one of those songs. The thought of this and Off he Goes being on the same damn album is just orgasmic. My god!!!! :o

    For the past week, I have been listening to all PJ albums, oh yes!! For 3 days straight, I slept w/No Code, Yield, and Riot Act on.:)

    For some strange reason, this song and Present Tense, have been in my head, I guess b/c Around the Bend has put me to sleep, in a good way, and Present Tense,well, for other reasons.

    Around the Bend is a lullaby, a very sweet one, which can even put a baby to sleep. The lyrics in that song, I don't know if I said this before or not, are very beautiful.

    these lyrics in particular, reminds me of when my niece was a little baby, craddling her in my arms, so she could go to sleep. Nothing in the world, makes me so grateful to have a little angel like her:) I should play for her that song when I come home for Thanksgiving.
