    I think "Old Men Around the Corner" would be more fitting.

    Of course that is what my dad predicted back in the early 90's would be their name if they ever broke up and got back together. He was just teasing my little sis when she was in full NKOTB phase, but the name seems appropriate now. ;)

    I think it was two distinct things:

    1 - Once every member began wearing a funny looking hat, it was just too much to handle.

    2 - When they changed it to NKONB, it just seemed like a totally different band.
