Yeah you heard me right. EVACUATION-->LOVERS! We're not just a myth. We really do exist!

Damn! Poor song. It seems so rejected and I'm just not having any part of that! This is a thread for those few of you that agree with me that EVACUATION kicks ass! Please show your love! This baby has been very deprived of it around these parts and I feel that it's due time that we show our support.

If you don't agree and you're one of the many haters, that's cool...just please don't post here. :) This thread is reserved for lovers only. :p

This song always digs into me and forces me to dance my ass off! It's infectious! I love the message too! Some really powerful and moving lyrics here. Ahhh and this entire part is THE BEST....

Overall I LOVE this song and I'm not afraid to admit it! And I know we've all seen the TB2k performance? How much fun is Stone having?! :eek: Seriously! It looks like the boys really enjoy playing it. Which makes this all the more confusing...

    i misread your post as "education" and was about to tell you about how much i love that song! but evacuation is great too...especially when played live. I like the lyrics.

    You know I never really cared for or thought much of this song; especially after watching the Touring Band DVD when, while singing the song, Ed......uhhhh....."evacuates" a bit in the middle of it.

    Kind of turned me off....I've haven't watched that bit of the DVD since and I can't listen to the song without thinking of it. I must be scarred for life or something of the sort. I'll seek therapy this weekend and give the song another go :o.

    I shit you not, this song is top five material for me. Hardly anything they've ever done tops this one, it's perfect. Great blend of music, lyric and melody...hats off.

    Wish they'd play it more.

    A good song on a GREAT album.

    Not one of my favorites, but I never skip over it either. Definately a little different, but that is why I always play it.

    I love Binaural. Of the Girl is probably the best song (in my opinion) on this cd.

    I was actually a huge Evacuation hater for some time. NEVER listened to it and always said that it was one of the three or so PJ songs that I actually hate.

    but then......they played it at MSG II in 2003! and wouldn't you know it? it actually fucking rocked! I couldn't believe it! My buddy (a fellow Evcuation hater) and I were VERY happily suprised.

    that's my Evacuation story. I won't be joining your guys little Evcuation lovers club because I still don't like this tune. but I admire your solidarity in celebrating a song you like!
