There is not real difference in sound between color and black vinyl (which is actually also colored vinyl). Its when you get into splatter, split, tri color, or quad color (flower pedal) where sound problems start to exist.
All my TMR records sound great... All my Castleface Records w/splatter, colors from Thee Oh Sees, Fuzz and the like sound great. My Cake RSD colored box set sounds great.
That's just a few off the top of my head...
Two records I bought that sounded like shit? DMB livetrax and Iron Maiden Live after death. Both on black vinyl, go figure.
It's all in how you cut the record and how the plant presses it.
So, what's with this COA, is it signed or not?
Agree-
which live trax sounded like shit, out of curiosity? I only have the San Fran one but I love it.

I have all but the first one and the 3rd one, Conneticuuit sounds bad. Lots of static on the record. If I clean it, which I haven't, it might sound better?
This thread should convince Ten Club to do a mystery vinyl box for $30. Add a couple vaults and a few Benny's and were good to go.

Thread integrity, What is the COA for?
Thread integrity: empty boxes and colors.
as for cleaning it I have no idea, it would probably help? I don't have a cleaner so I've never done much more than wipe em down, which I don't really even do.
Do the box sets come with random gold VIP tickets and backstage passes for future PJ concert event of your choice??
No, they come with random golden tickets for a 60 second shopping frenzy at the 10c warehouse
I heard there is one golden ticket conclealed in one of the 500 sets that the winner can turn in to play guitar on a song of his or her choice during the next tour. Bugs is a bad choice.
J Roddy Walston and The Business are putting a "Golden Cassette" in with 5 of the preorders for their new album. If you score one of these cassettes, you get a meet & greet with the band AND a lifetime spot on their guest list for any show you want to attend!!!

Yeah, not with this band and its rabid fan base. Likely to get some weirdo like me winning.

And from what I've read, even then it's really not about it being coloured per se - it's just about production quality.

if you are offering me your vinyl and box you have a deal, you can keep the coa and whatever else may be included. thats all you want anyway, right?
The ironic thing is that people didn't want to pay an extra $100 for the box. And now there are people who will pay far more than that to acquire the "rare" box by itself.

Yeah, thats pretty much it.
Why do you want it? If its just to listen to the music its cheaper just to buy the albums separately.
