I don't know if they've ever played here or not, but not since I can remember living here. This city is still rebuilding after the devastation of Hurricane Katrina, and even though we took the full brunt of the storm, New Orleans gets all the press because the levee breaks.

At any rate, it's a great city that's been down on its luck lately, and the best stuff we get around here are the occasional casino performances by Tony Orlando and Better Than Ezra, thats pretty pathetic. Pearl Jam NEEDS to see if they can book a show at the Biloxi Colosseum. I saw Aerosmith there a decade ago and it was amazing, and I really think it would e helpful to see people traveling here to see something amazing for a change, because everyone knows what NOLA went through, but we could use a real morale booster here too.

Come on gang, whaddya say? I don't want Biloxi to be forever known as the city with the radio station that put Creed on the map, cool as they were, we can do better! ^_^

Hi, I'm from Carthage -- smack in the middle of the state -- and I have been saying this for years. Biloxi's proximity to New Orleans makes it a viable location for big time concerts I think. Hell, I saw the Eagles at the coliseum a few years back and they played two shows on back-to-back nights. I always love to have the opportunity to head for the coast for a show. In '97 I saw Smashing Pumpkins there and came down for Kid Rock (free ticket and an excuse to party in the middle of the week) earlier this year.
It angered...or at least perturbed me...that the coast was overlooked so much in the coverage of Katrina and Biloxi is a great town. It would be awesome if PJ would do a show in good ol' Mizzip.
All I have to do is revel in the everyday....then do it again tomorrow

They say every sin is deadly but I believe they may be wrong...I'm guilty of all seven and I don't feel too bad at all
  • Remember, PJ doesn't play the South now apparently......

    Um why not?
