I have to see Pearl Jam before I die. They are absolutley my favourite band in the world. I put a PJ record on and I wonder why I bother listening to anything else because I love it so much. Now I have seen a lot of great American bands play in the UK. The chili's have been here often, I saw Audioslave do an amazing gig in cardiff etc etc. SO WHY DONT PEARL JAM PLAY HERE???!!! it drives me crazy. They played a festival here 3 years ago or something and I had a ticket and everything but I couldnt go cus I got evicted from my flat and lost my job on the very weekend they were playing so I had to sell my ticket to a friend. Is it too much to ask for them to put on a small uk tour? A few dates at some reasonably sized venues in UK cities, Its not like no body would show up!

To be fair mate they played here at Wembley Arena last June, and at the London Astoria the year before... as well as Dublin, the Reading Festival and the Leeds Festival 20006 (and maybe a couple of others that I've forgotten??). But yes I agree, that's not a massive selection considering the last time they played here was 2000, a mini-UK tour would be amazing.
  • Uh.. yeah... you just got shows.

But then we wouldn't get the road trip.
Going to see them in Europe is much more fun.
  • I saw them last year in London (age 17 luckily enough). But its already been too long. I'll definitly travel back down to london to see them again, even if im on my own this time.

I also came to a conclusion. The best time of my life so far was when i was in london last year, and the best day i had was when i went to see Pearl Jam, thus meaning seeing Pearl Jam is the best thing to ever happen to me. I still have the recording on my phone of Eddie singing 'No more'. If they did multiple gigs i would go to them all.

    Oh and im from Scotland.
    S'cuse the shit name!
