    Exceedingly tempting but... 

    I grew up in Palo Alto and used to bike up to Emerson Street to help fold clothes at my girl friend's parent's dry cleaners/laundry... 

    The scent of fresh laundry...

    Heart break...

    Bell's books and the scent of books...

    The scent of death...

    OMG, I don't think if I could handle the nostalgia...   :frowning:

    I would have expected that neighborhood would have gentrified after all these years.

    A quick search and I'm seeing house go for 800k to a million bucks-- one on Lincoln St. for 1.9 mil.

    Yeah, after my snarky comment, I googled East Palo Alto and one of the first links was the sheriff announcing no murders in the first half of the year. It's definitely the Facebook effect.
