No, thank you. Mr. Vedder, in Chicago, the pleasure was ours. Welcome home.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you, these two shows were fantastic. I can not speak for all, but I guarantee the fact that I witnessed both of the last two evenings, was nothing short of a miracle. Having just enough for face value on a ticket the first night and being given liberation without need of trade the second, and both being orchestra seats in that historic building, I made it close enough to see ya without my missing glasses. I just wanted to say thank you for every thing over the years. Especially to those two girls outside the second night that didn't even barter for my '95 PJ live Soldier Field vinyl. Incognito angels they are. As thy left They charged me with paying the good fortune forward, I want them to know it's on its way. I am unable to express how therapeutic the last two evenings have been. I think I'll now be able to relax this weekend. They say late in the season, when the fry caught in the pools from the previous nights tide at the North avenue lighthouse. are just big enough to hook, they can be scooped with a small net and patient feet. Bring 'em to Montrose harbor and cast away, they make free bait. I know where I'll be Sunday morning sunrise watching the tide roll away. Other than PBS, I concede the only ting worth watching on TV is Sunday morning news, but between the Olympics and the election, the only thing left to wait for is if McCain who did not accept Kerry's invitation to be Vice and cross lines, will create hypocrisy and offer it to Lieberman. I meant what I said and I repeat, "BARACK AND EDDIE, SHINING ON A NEW DAY". Again I can not speak for all, but I trust that Mr. Vedder has the conscience to know where to draw the line on Congress. Just a four year side project to restore checks and balances.

It is not quite fall yet, but I figure while I'm broke, might as well try to enjoy it. Does anyone know what time the sun is rising? The Imax at Navy Pier still has 7 and 10 pm showings of batman. Monday or Tuesday, I'll go see it one more time. That bat mobile poster was sweet. My angels should know, I'm going to give one of the white EV 23 zippo's to my broken roommate. He needs a pick-me-up. Does any know if the chevron with nine stars or the bulls eye with twenty-three have any significance? The colors could be Cubbies, USA, Chicago . . . ?

  • Hi Jordan (that is your name I think I remember) - so glad I saw your post - and I wanted to actually say thank you to you!! I wanted to let you know that being able to give you that ticket brought just as much joy to us as it did for you!!! I really hope you enjoyed every minute of it - you worked hard for that ticket my friend, and I am truly grateful to the PJ Gods that all the stars aligned on 8/22 - and that we ended up with a spare that we decided to give to the most worthy of recipients:) 8/22 will go down as truly one of the greatest days of my life (a bear hug from Eddie will do that to a girl!), and I am so glad I could share some of that magic with you!
  • And I'm her girl............

To say that friday in Chicago was PURE MAGIC would be a gross understatement.

From the moment I stepped off the plane that morning............ it was like all I had to do was stand still and the goodness came to me!

We were fortunate enough to meet Eddie not once but TWICE that day........
so the gratitude was just bursting to get out.

Who knew a last minute road trip between 2 girls that had literally spent a total of 8 hours together prior would result in such an amazing experience for ourselves and you!!!

I am constantly humbled by the power of kindness.

It was OUR pleasure to see your face light up :)

Pay it forward..............it's the only way..........
How I choose to feel......is how I am.
