The studio version of GTF is definitely the weakest link of these songs...

For me, it comes down to both lyrics and overall melody.
Neither are as original in GTF when compared to the others.
It has a great message, and I wouldn't call it corny ever, but it is closer to corny than the others by a long shot, and those other three songs are more distinct, and unique overall.
Black and RVM have incredibly cohesive lyrics that tell a clear narrative using closely related symbols and motifs. Masterpiece poetry, really. I'll never forget when I first heard the lines "I gather speed from you fuckin with me" and "Tattooed all I see, all I am, all I'll ever be"...shivers.
Alive is anthemic and defines the sound of the era as well as any song from it's day.
(I like the song, but it has a sour taste in my mouth for personal reasons.)
