    Welcome to Week 9 Degenerates

    I see there was a brief discussion about the banker's duties during the week. Being a lowly volunteer, I just send out and collect money and post these standings' updates.  When Horos speaks, degenerates listen - he really shut down that conversation. My name would be more endearing than 'banker',  but I digress. I expect nothing for my services. The amount sent through paypal is a non-issue.

    Thursday night's game sent half the degenerates straight to the pit of misery. Dilly dilly!

    You should pick from the late games amd post here is the site won't let you pick in a second round that way you are safe for sure.

    Shit, only 5 late games - 

    NJ Giants, Houston Texans, Atlanta Falcons, Miami Dolphins, Denver Broncos & you can all vote on Cleveland Browns.

    4 of the games are 4 pm or after games - I add Denver as the other late game and Browns as my 6th pick. 

    I can't pick any games at all - if i only pick games after 4 it still says 1 pm is the cut off.  This is my first 1 pm fuck up this year but I've had plenty in the past 4 years and I've never been able to pick late games, even just Monday night. The site is strict with this one.

    Week 10 is the worst week for the degenerates since week 6, and it's likely to win shittiest week of the year so far.

    Good luck to Indifference, vermont, Juggler, dougfloyd and last12exit who are looking at possible high scores of 4. 6 for 6 pot is safe this week. 

    I'm hoping for a 2. Brutal final scores, the real time updates give false hope. I'm not looking at them anymore.

    Even though my beloved Giants are lost in the wilderness, I can't help being happy for the SF players getting a win. And congrats to Eli on tying his brother's 2nd place consecutive start streak at 208. Long may he wave.Period. Full Stop.

    I'll be posting the standings mid week ( I know it's the highlight of the week for youse guys).

    Was hard to pick out 6 games for this week.  What a terrible lineup of games once again this week....so many bad teams in the NFL.  Tonight's game could be OK, but the quality of these Thursday night games has been trash the past few weeks..  Rams-Vikings is clearly the game of the week....who would have thought that before the season?!?

    Thanks Eric! I was at the store filling up my kombucha jugs (seriously) and saw the time and did my picks on my phone in the car. Hopefully I can improve on my 1  from last week. I liked it when I was closer to the top of the standings. 

    Thanks for your vote Scott, FWIW - they were obviously shitty picks. 

    I had a rough week Brett - but I'm feeling much better. Thank you for your well wishes.  I'm off the ice (Biofreeze is an awesome product for pain - I get it through Groupon, just passing it on) and tramadol and just need motrin once or twice a day. Pain sucks.
