It has a few photos that aren't printed on the vinyl jacket, and there is a 4-page black & white fold out / centerfold with a panorama shot of the whole stadium. I just bought the CD to rip into iTunes so I can listen to the album in the car on my iPod, but I guess it was worth it to get these "extras."

I got my vinyl copy in the mail from 10c. Good news is that it was worth the extra money because I got the slipmat I wanted with the dates on it. The bad news is that I got stung with customs. I also got stung on some ToTD posters about two weeks ago (one shipped from 10c, and one shipped from templeofthedog.com). I think somethings up with Canadian customs. They usually let alot of stuff slide (legal limit is $20, but usually most things under $100 slide through under the radar). I'm 3/3 for my last 3 packages from the US.
I wonder if something is up. Like Canada ramping up enforcement because of NAFTA talks?

That blows! How much were you hit in customs on the vinyl?

$14 and change. The posters a few weeks back were $15 and change a few weeks back. It's basically the $10 canada post charge plus gst/pst (or HST in your fine part of the country).
Canada post just left me the slip. $16.24 CDN to pay for the 10club vinyl.
PEARL JAM LET'S PLAY TWO VINYL
Sub Total: $33.99
Standard INT Shipping: $30.99
Total: $64.98 US
$34 dollar vinyl from the 10club & I'm charged $16.24 CDN in customs?!?
Please tell me for the love of GOD how 10club is getting a better rate with UPS then USPS for their international fans again?!?!?!?!
But hey, you got a slip mat right?
Right. I'll just look at in rage that the custom fees & shipping cost was the purchase of the slip mat & sticker. As if it all balanced off in the end ...

In this case I don't think it's UPS' fault. You selected Standard International Shipping. That's UPS delivering to USPS, and it's USPS that ships its across the border.
I think the Canadian government has issued a crackdown on enforcing the $20 package limit. We're so used to them letting most things under $100 slide, that it's taking us by surprise. I've had 4 packages come from the US in the past few weeks, and everyone has been hit (and not all of them has been from 10c.). I haven't had 4 packages hit in the last 15 years, and now i'm 4 in a row. It probably has something to do with the NAFTA negotiations.
I definitely have to rethink my approach to importing. I can seem to find any news on it. Whether this is only focused on stuff crossing from the US, or if I should avoid importing from the UK/Europe as well.
