I really just want the standard mp3 / FLAC / CD offering.
    This 100%.

I could care less about about a Blu Ray release. I just want the damn boot on my phone to enjoy, the audience copies are terrible.

I don't think it's embarrassing, lol, whatever that means. They might be holding on to them for all kinds of good reasons... the best possible reason being that someday, maybe way in the future, they will put together some massive Wrigley package that includes some or all of the 3 shows they've played there (so far?). Even if they put something like that out 10 years from now, it would still be cool and a reasonable explanation as to why they haven't released any of them yet.... obviously the 2013 show should get priority over the 2016 shows, if they aren't planning on combining them all.

  • What pains me the most about the Wrigley shows is that I'm a big fan of The Bill Simmons Podcast, and its opening theme song is this epic version of "Corduroy" from that night, in perfect quality. It gets me so pumped up that I wish I could have the full version...

Sure, but until something official comes out, audience boots aren't so bad if you're dying to hear the show or a song from the show. Beggars can't be choosers.

What about Lowell 92? Wasn't there a dude on here peddling stolen T-shirts. How do you think he feels?

I love you Chicago people, really I do. But you guys have to slow your fuckin' roll. They'll end up like PJ20 and you'll end up not even caring any more. Just give it a few more years.
Nope. And in fact, as time has gone on, I've wanted them more. I admit, I had all but given up on the 2013 show until they announced the plans for the 16 shows. That tease even got me hopeful the 13 show might be included in some way. Obviously, we'll survive if they never see the light of day, but then the question must be asked - do you really want to live in a world without Wrigley boots?

I get that they asked for a little more time to do something special and that probably means a BluRay. But that was nearly a year ago! Video was shot, audio was recorded, what's the hold up??

Only thing I can think of is Pearl Jam likes to give work to smaller manufacturers as their way of giving back, and said little guy can't handle the order.

I forgive there's still no 2016 Holiday Single. It's only July. BUT WHERE IS WRIGLEY?!?! Just sell me the audio and I'll buy the BluRay later.

And Pearl Jam need a new concert to sell. I think they've released every song from Showbox 2003 DVD on YouTube.
    No one buys concerts anymore.

Did we ever determine what was embarrassing about it?

We did. Nothing. Nothing is embarrassing about it.

Can't make a box set when all the shows haven't been released.
