Like an animal
Am I on the run
Screaming,  seeking
For a place to hide
A moment of rest

In this endless fight
I've battled for so long
I'm at the end of my rope
Lonely and alone
Seeking for so long

In my attempt to be an animal between humans
Pretending to be one of them
Lighthouses, beacons, and boats,
They've lost there meaning
To the animal I've become

While on the run, I've fallen
Into a deep ravine
Falling and falling
No end in sight
No matter how hard I try
I can't get out

All the safety-lines I thought I had
Are made for humans
Not for this animal on the run
While I'm falling
I can't reach the lines
'Cause they're made for hands
Which aren't mine

In my fall
I shatter all I've build
All fragile structures  I created
To keep me safe

Who am i kidding?
Who is the fool?
A safe place never existed
For an animal
Pretending to be human

There is no safe haven
It will drown is this tremendous storm
