Deep deserves it besides if isn't hard to drum up disdain for glorified g
Compared to the other songs on Vs? Maybe. Compared to the rest of the songs on this list? No way.
Put it another way: I'm really not a fan of Evacuation. In fact, I'd consider it to be a pretty lousy song and probably the weakest link on Binaural (although I may have voted for Soon Forget). Even with this said, I rank it at #3 of the songs listed in this thread (Best of the Weakest).
None of these songs come remotely close to Deep and Glorified G.

Glorified g came damn close to ruining Vs for me, it just shuts that album down right in the middle like that. It has only been in the last few years and if it's live where I dont dislike it. Pretty much every song on this thread beats glorified g, at least for me.

Fair enough. I can appreciate that it is a step down after the Go-Animal-Daughter start. I rarely listen to the Vs. album anymore (just live bootlegs and personalized mixes of them) so that doesn't bother me anymore.
I can't unhear "four or five virgins and a pelican" but I still love the song.
Haha, just last week a friend who didn't really know the song heard those lyrics as "Glorified virgin on a pelican" and couldn't imagine what the song was about.
