Ed will be kicking off a series of Guest DJ spots on SiriusXM's new Beatles Channel this coming Friday.

    Eddie Vedder to be First Guest DJ on New Beatles Sirius Channel

    SiriusXM will launch their new Beatles channel with a variety of special guest DJs, the first of whom will be Pearl Jam’s Eddie Vedder.

    Vedder will kick off the channel on June 9 at 5 PM ET as its very first guest DJ, with each session taking place on Fridays at the same time. Don Henley will also appear on June 23, director Ron Howard on July 14 and Billy Joel will DJ his favorite Beatles songs on July 28.

    The channel is created in collaboration with and fully authorized by The Beatles Apple Corps Ltd, with full access to the band’s catalog. The channel can be found on SiriusXM Channel 18.

    I have XM in my car, and when I heard this was going to be on I decided to sign up to stream XM so I could listen at home. So glad I did! Being a Beatlemaniac from the 60s I was curious to see how much Ed was into the Fab Four, and he didn't disappoint! I love the anecdotes, esp. the one about Paul punching him in the jaw. I read about that incident a long time ago, but hearing Ed talking about it was awesome. After I listened at 5:00 I tuned back in again at 8:00 it was that good.
    Did anyone record this show? If so, could you please send me the file, or tell me what software to use to capture it? Thanks!

    Now if only Pearl Jam Radio could bring back Eddie Vedder for another EV Radio Show which happened back on December 5th 2012.
