Chan Marshall posted a video of them earlier, with Ed getting the start of the song wrong.
She captioned it with: "'I fucked up. You followed me, which meant by following me you fucked up' Yeah. And I will follow you forever. If God has a heart, it's Eddie Vedder"

Such a great post. At difficult times like this I'm really glad that Ed has friends like Glen and Chan around when he's on tour.

    It was an amazing night!
Given the events of the last few weeks, seeing Ed in any state of happiness was a welcome sight..and he sure was happy! Egeskov is a beautifull place, but I'm pretty sure Ed was more than "nature drunk and high"

Was not expecting Long Nights to show up at a festival. May be he wanted to practice for London night 2, where End of the Road should also be played!

     I'm honestly still buzzing..!

At the Cat Power show yesterday, she mentioned Ed after seemingly being overcome by emotion during "the greatest".. "I don't know if you saw Eddie yesterday.. He carries the weight of the world on his shoulders with such grace"
    That was really moving

What a day! What a night!

Having Ed play a festival show again in Denmark surely felt like a dream. And those surroundings! Clearly Eddie was impressed himself and promised to come again, should the festival invite him back. Hopefully they do cause this was, hands down, a fantastic show where everything just came together. The surrounding trees, the castle, the weather and last but not least - the music. Eddie was very relaxed and seemed to be in a great mood.He does however fuck up a lot of songs in this tour. Lots of restarts. I´ve honestly never before heard him botch songs this much. But somehow it didn´t detract from the performance at all. It just set a very human tone for the show and felt like being invited into Ed´s living room for a private show. What´s also fantastic about his solo shows is that you get to hear his amazing voice loud and clear. None of the aspects of his incredible voice gets drowned out by crowd sing-along or the loudness of the band. It´s so intimate. We had a great time and I got to hear Can´t Keep and Soon Forget for the first time - even though it was my PJ/Eddie show number 25. This man never ceases to amaze or surprise us. My girlfriend experienced his greatness for the first time and she hasn´t stopped talking about it since. Given it was Denmark, the whole experience just felt so soothing and healing. For all of us. And I´ve NEVER heard a crowd this silent before. Not many cell phones, not many people shouting stupid stuff, not many people walking out and in. Just a gathering of people deeply concentrated on the music. The way it should be!

Eddie, you are so loved by a lot of people.

Btw, I´m pretty sure he played Setting Forth as well but it´s not on any of the official setlists it seems? Very weird.

    Until next time!

    20. It Happened Today-(Buck, Mills, Stipe)

Has this been done before? The song's been stuck in my head and I've imagined how great he'd sing the full song solo.

This was an amazing show. It was my first time at this Heartland, as I didn't know this event until Eddie was announced. The festival itself was awesome, I got to know it a little bit from the 'other' side as I applied to be photographer there. The surroundings were amazing and even Glen admitted that they took a walk the day before their concerts. I bet Michael Stipe joined them. He had lecture during the last day of festival, but also he was backstage during Eddie's show. He passed right next to me minutes before Eddie's started. I think Ed also wanted him to join, but he didn't appear on stage, unfortunately.

These're the pictures I've taken during Eddie's performance, as I chose not to be in the photopit and decided to occupy the awesome place in the first row, there aren't many of them as my fan-mode took over:)
