I have been listening to a lot of different live versions of Around the Bend. I noticed that Ed does not sing the second verse: “I  hold your head deep in my arms, my fingertips they close your eyes, off you dream, my little child, there's a sun around the bend”. I listened to multiple Ed solo versions and PJ versions. I haven’t heard the 4 versions from 96 and 98. Does anybody know if he has ever played the 2nd verse live?

    From 1996, both the Showbox and Bridge School versions are complete with second verse as well as 1998 Maui

    Thanks so much for the info, PJ Stat Tracker says they played it in Barcelona on 11/21/96. Can you confirm, if they played the second verse then? Really appreciate it.

    No second verse not played at Barcelona 96.
    In fact of the 12 times the song has been played, only Seattle 96, Bridge School 96 and Maui 98 contain the second verse.
    Was lucky to catch ATB at Phoenix '13. Great song
