Live perfomances that should have been put on holiday singles?

For me, Bad Religion with Eddie Vedder - Watch it die from the Philly 2009 shows.

Could have been a double A-single with this on the other side:

I think when Ed would do "It Makes No Difference" with MMJ  back in 2006 would have been a great annual single.

Something from the Toronto 2009 preset. Ted Leo forgot his passport and couldn't make the show, so Pearl Jam members opened up for Pearl Jam. Eddie solo, Mike solo, Stone solo, Eddie and Jeff, Eddie and Mike with the Pharmacists...it was awesome!

(Hat tip to the great mfc172. I don't know if you are here but if you are, man, I am so thankful for the videos you share.)

Down with Mike Ness in Philly - magical moment.  Like putting chocolate and peanut butter together.  Amazing combo

"A Quick One, While He's Away" w/ MMJ from Torino was pretty amazing to see on Immagine In Cornice. pearljambootlegs.org includes this in their Torino download. I discovered the reissue of the original album from a $5 gas station tape right before our move in 2006, so when it popped up in the movie, it made me pretty happy. :)

Are there rules for how/why/what they pick? Has to be non pj? Has to be with special guest?

Doesnt seem so. There are plenty that are just PJ, no special guests. Just seems to be whatever song they want to put out. Was a bigger deal before 200 and they came out with all the boots.
Wasn't Last Kiss just a soundcheck? One of their biggest hits almost never was if it wasnt chosen for the single that year.

None.  We already get these on boots.  I'd like the yearly single to be something new or something that isn't already available on a boot.

Most of the suggestions so far are not available on boots. Presets in particular are never included on boots.

+1 I was there and would even like a vault vinyl for this show!  Awesome night.

    I revised my answer.

None.   My favorite xmas singles are the ones with studio tracks (or even soundchecks) of new tunes.   There's always a little part of of me that's disappointed when it's a live single.   PJ has made their live music so accessible through all the official bootlegs and yearly vaults that a few live songs isn't really that exciting :(

I agree with the poster above.  I'd rather see new material.  New Studio Songs, New Studio covers etc....   Even if it's live music from unreleased shows, I'd rather see a vault of the show down the road.   2 songs is a teaser :)
