I wonder if this had anything to do with the Syria bombing? Maybe Bannon really objected to it and got booted for it.

Yet he was still in the room when the decision was made

Okay... as I said, I wonder if he didn't agree and that's why he got booted? He may have been taking Russia's side on it.

I think the "booting" is far more related to health care. Bannon burnt a lot of bridges with people in congress that Trump needs to work with.

Anything's possible, but I don't see why he would be booted from the NSC within hours of a major military strike because of an unrelated opinion about healthcare, but still remain Trump's WH strategist. Why exactly have you built that hypothesis, considering how nonsensical it seems?

That is the story. Kushner was pushing for the attack, Bannon was against it.

I personally think that Trump parks potential opportunities to make headlines, and reserves them for when he participates in producing something unsavoury or unfavourable. By that logic, the removal of Bannon from that role precisely fits that bill. Of course, this theory is nearly impossible to prove, but is well in line with Trump's deflective strategies.

He's playing the junior high school version of "I'm cooler than you," but everyone knows he's not and that he doesn't have any friends and spends the weekends by himself.

I thought President Trump ordered them to meet and bury the hatchet?
