I can't stop laughing. Someone goes after hockey to a Canadian...it's just hilarious. As funny as someone going after baseball to an American. ROTF, seriously. :giggle:

Baseball is a beautiful sport. And so is hockey. There are polar opposites in strategy and execution. But at teh end of the day, the hand-eye coordination necessary to be an exceptional offensive player is the same. Anyone that razzes either sport makes...me...angry....

and further..... I would love to see a Canadian team win it. I'm Lightning first but if they aren't in it, I go all Canadian. 1993 is far too long since the Cup sat in Canada, where it should be.

Red Wings. I was born in Detroit; when you go south from Detroit, you're in Canada so we were surrounded by hockey. Gordie Howe was a legend. There's also the Tigers...lots of great memories of Al Kaline too. :)

I enjoy playing it. I enjoy the World Series sometimes (bit of a mark for drama). Of course it takes great skill, but I just find that it moves so slow that it puts me to sleep (on tv-I have gone to a few minor league Winnipeg Goldeyes games). And many people in the stands also.

a good friend of mine is in the Manitoba Baseball Hall of Fame. When PJ played in St Paul, I actually really wanted to catch a Twins game, but my wife refused. So I'm not "razzing" it, I can appreciate it, I just don't enjoy it. I don't mind anyone that razzes canadians for hockey, it's all in good fun!

Both sports suck. Basketball and American Football is where it's at!

Ok, just kidding. Baseball and Hockey are both great to GO TO A GAME and watch....not so much on TV, especially baseball unless it's the World Series. Hockey is super fun all tied up in the 3rd with the clock ticking down...but only in the post-season. I'll never understand a sport (I'm looking at you too Soccer) that allows SO MANY ties!!!

To get back on topic....they are all better than Trump.

We drove from Detroit to London a few years back to see PJ.....then from London to Niagra Falls. I couldn't believe how many Swiss Chalets we passed.

The weak illegal immigration policies of the Obama Admin. allowed bad MS 13 gangs to form in cities across U.S. We are removing them fast!

The MS13 has been around at least since the Clinton Administration, maybe before. When I moved there in 2000, they were pretty much all over Northern Va/D.C.

They keep blaming everything on Obama. Everything that's wrong was Obama's fault? I love how it was okay to blame everything on Obama, but with Trump or Bush, it was "Well, he's my President." Hopefully, these investigations will yield the necessary results and we can fix this mess before MORE bombs are dropped. I hope that doesn't mean that Pence will take office, though. That guy believes in "Conversion Therapy", which is an atrocity as well.

The worst part of all of this is that our Country has become an Us vs. Them Nation. It's so divisive and tense and really, just a giant step backwards or towards a really frightening future.
