I believe that the Live at the Garden show was shot with the same Sony cameras we had at my film school which shoot in SD. Forgotten the name, something ending in "500".

So, not a chance that Kevin would have brought a HD camera back then.

But maybe you're talking about some professional shot footage that's mixed in? That could ofc be in HD.

Danny Clinch shot Immagine in Cornice on HD (mixed with film). Before that (2006 or 2005), I doubt Kevin shot in HD.

The 2006 show with the daytime playing was at the gorge. I remember that long ramp headed to the floor/pit area.

Remember also there was a ticketing mix up and many people were let in late. You can see people pouring into the bowl area as the band is playing.

I'll never forget creating the top of the hill and hearing the first notes of Wash.

Very stressful since I came from Minnesota, but so relieved I didn't miss part of the show.

I thought the footage in the edit was awesome and what made it so compelling. The edit itself was not spectacular as it just felt like all the clips were thrown onto the timeline in sequence without any sense of timing. However, there were a crazy ton of clips to manage so maybe all his energy was taken up just going through all the old analog sources and digitizing them.
