The atmosphere in Master around 5:20 always gets me. Heavy bass, heavy stuff. Bad is a magical tune. The stripped, raw, and real version of Fall to Pieces is real nice. Never heard Burn before.

That playlist seems really well thought out tbergs...i'll tackle it later tonight!

I used to record everything I caught on late night TV. I have hundreds of hours of VRC taped music. And then they invented YouTube. Could have saved a lot of money and time, LOL!

So true. I would even break out my tape player and record the audio from the TV to listen to later. I did that with music and TV shows so I could listen to them when I went to bed. I had so many blank 90 minute tapes on hand and then the VCR tape of the video too! Youth theses days have it easy.

Great thread OP! I'm looking forward to playing these... When I have time and after many more people have posted, perhaps I'll put everyone's picks in a big playlist on Spotify, if anyone says they'd like to listen to that.

Glad you liked it. I've always thought that Godsmack tune was underrated. I think it's what first inspired me to make a rain playlist. Floods by Pantera is another good one if you're looking for some heavier replacements on the list.

Mr. Jones - The Psychedelic Furs
