under the description of the membership it says "Previously unreleased collectible vinyl single exclusive to members only." Its a yearly single. It may or may not have something to do with Xmas, chickens, Trump, or coffee. Calm down everyone

Maybe the band are waiting to issue a recording from RRHOF as this years single??? That would be nice.

Yeah that'd be nice for the 2017 single.

all though a bit weird to put a 2017 performance on the 2016 single :)

If they play 4 songs, make 2 singles with 2 songs each and cover 16 and 17 :)

yea that's what I said from an earlier post suggesting the same thing. I think 1 or 2 of the performances will probably be on a future Rock Hall compilation cd anyway. And there will be mp3s of the performances by fans the day of anyway. Or after the broadcast

Maybe they recorded something with Dave K for it?

I got mine already. It showed up yesterday.

Big box. Looks like both nights of PJ20 on vinyl. 45 rpm. Lots of discs. All different colors and splatter variants.

There are pro-shot blurays in there too.

Everything looks like it's hand signed by the whole band.

I don't even know what year we're supposed to be getting anymore. Was the last one Beyoncé? Just do something we all think is cool again, please

The issue isn't if it is an x-mas single or not. The annoyance is that it is spring 2017 and we haven't heard a word about the 2016 single. Seems like it gets later every year, and at some point it's just going to skip a year (again). At least a little announcement that it wasn't forgotten and when to expect it would be nice.
It's also frustration to remember it wasn't that long ago when membership was $10, then 20, and now $40 if you want the vinyl. With the band touring less and less, the "yearly" single is really the only thing of interest we get for $40 most years. Would be nice if it wasn't just an afterthought rushed to print.

You can drop to a digital membership, then just buy the single in the shop if it's of any interest to you.

I've thought about that, but I am 100% confident the first year I do that it won't be available to purchase on vinyl and will be some amazing sought after version. Until then they will always be available however.

And if you stick to that plan you spend $20 for digital, and $10 for the vinyl. If you're going to do that, may as well go full analog. The shirts are probably the lamest shirts available, the luggage tags would have been really awesome if they actually said Pearl Jam or had a logo on them.

It has been less than a year since the last single was released. I think we received it in September a few years ago. They are not getting "later" every year, and the year it actually did get skipped was the 2nd year the band did a single...so maybe we should be used to them being "late" every year and just worry about other things? If the description of membership benefits said "single will be delivered before the end of the year," then it would be late.

That's assuming you buy the vinyl every year.

Part of it MIGHT be vinyl pressing delays. I've released a handful of albums for bands on vinyl, and most of the pressing plants are backed up by at least 9 months. Probably a good business to get into actually, if you had the cash to buy the gear.

I'm done with quoting. it's fucked.

to answer^^^^, no, there is no update. I was told by 10C we will know the vinyl is in production when the digital singles show up in our accounts. that's it, that's all. so basically, it might be safe to assume it hasn't even been sent to production yet.
