Eagles of Death Metal Documentary (HB0)

Just watched this, excellent doc. Focuses mainly on the Paris show, but gives some insight into their history. Josh Homme seems like a cool dude. Colin hanks has done some really good documentaries.

  • I watched it and thought Colin Hanks did a great job but then I googled Jesse Hughes. Yikes.

I'm sure Hughes was profoundly affected by being part of the attack, but hes come off really horribly in any interviews that discuss it that I've seen. Seems like a put on the majority of the time.

I watched the doc the other day. Big Josh Homme fan and don't really know EoDM. Seemed in poor taste to focus on the history of the band as much as it did.

I saw it last week. thought it was good but emotional and sad. chilling to hear them talk about that night and to see them on stage before the attacks. I can't imagine what they and the other survivors have to deal with on a daily basis these days.
