    Trump addresses bruise on hand seen at Davos

    President Trump on Thursday addressed bruising on his hand seen at an event earlier in the day. saying he “clipped” it on a table and attributing being easily bruised to the side effects of taking aspirin daily for his heart condition.

    “I’m very good,” Trump said when a reporter traveling with him on Air Force One if he was OK.

    “I clipped it on the table,” he continued, saying that he put cream on it. 

    “I would say take aspirin if you like your heart, but don’t take aspirin if you don’t want to have a little bruising,” the president said. “I take the big aspirin. And when you take the big aspirin, they tell you, you bruise.” 

    “The doctors said, ‘You don’t have to take that, sir. You are very healthy.’ I said, ‘I’m not taking any chances,’” he said. “That’s one of the side effects of taking aspirin.”

    Photos taken of Trump attending the World Economic Forum at Davos, Switzerland, on Thursday showed bruising on his left hand while attending the Board of Peace event with several world leaders.

    Earlier, White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt acknowledged the bruising and attributed to the same side effects.

    I'm guessing some of them are not happy with what has happened lately in Minneapolis, know the killings and the brutality of ICE is wrong, and either don't want to admit it, or are too ashamed to , or don't want to deal with the retribution that might be heaped upon them by some members here.  
    I would welcome back any former MAGAs who post here and if they still believe in a multiple (two or more) party system, and believe democracy is better than fascism, and still prefer the Republican party, I would encourage them to work to clean house with that party that caved in to dictatorship, pseudo-monarchy, and fascism.

    Thanks, Tim, but I wouldn't say I'm being generous.  It just makes sense to believe people are capable of changing.  
    And I don't see myself as either an optimist or a pessimist.  I'm more a realist and a do-what-makes-sense-ist.  As I've often said, hope isn't the conviction that things will turn out well.  Hope is the conviction to do what makes sense no matter how things turn out.
