I think non of this matters if Trumps base supports cant bring themselves to admit this man is a crook. If they are so deranged in their deplorable ways...non of this matters. In fact the polarization of the sides gets even deeper and any chance of compromise on anything becomes impossible. The division will be complete and sadly probably result in bloodshed. Sad.
It’s not about his base. It’s about the people like Brennan who thought Team Trump Treason would grow into the role, become presidential or simply held their nose and pulled the lever for him. There is a ton of buyers remorse but his base is his base of old, scared white people and angry, feeling discriminated against young white people. They’re never going to change. Forget his base, they’re a lost cause.
Maybe so but his inner circle cant hold the line against the push back out on the streets. Because they would never be caught dead there. His base....in the millions are the ones attending Nazi rallies and insisting hate. They are the ones passionate enough about what they believe to pull a trigger.
They’ll radicalize during the primaries and lose the generals. Most people are not his base of 35-40%. A majority of Americans are reasonable people. Team Trump Treason is losing the support of moderates and independents. Team Trump Treason’s schtick is growing old and you’ll see how old in the mid terms.
30% of his base are deplorable zombies. The other, more reasonable,10-15% are the ones who matter and can be swayed.

What will matter is that the majority (including in the swing states) - people against Trump - all vote in the midterms, and then, if he doesn't get impeached before that, in 2020. Seriously, if he's still in office and runs again in 2020 and the voter turn out doesn't hit a record high in favour of the Dems, I'm going to assume all hope for the USA is lost.
With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be careful. Strive to be happy. ~ Desiderata
All the news around this in the last 24 hours has been uplifting. If Don Don jr is on the list next like Vanity Fair suggested, this will ramp up exponentially.
“Pecker.” Snicker-snort. Read Team Trump Treason’s explanation of where the money came from. Sure sounds like he’s lying because he can never just deny, he has to embellish and exaggerate. Team Mueller will connect the dots and the picture won’t look anything like Team Trump Treason’s.
Anyone have legal doc experience? What does the Rev 04/24/2018 signify on each page of the plea?
Hillary’s birthday? Comet Pizza? Another child taken to mars from the catholic diocese of Pittsburg? Team Trump Treason’s first hole in one?
The date it was revised, offered and most likely accepted, or there abouts. Why? What pizza parlor opened on that day? Are you surprised Team Mueller could keep a secret for so long or it took so long for Team Mueller to corroborate the information being provided by Cohen to accept the plea. You really don’t understand how prosecutors work when investigating organized crime syndicates, do you? For what Cohen’s been charged with? He’s getting off light but we’ll have to wait for sentencing to really know. Kind of like Flynn. Remember him?

Remember they raided Cohen's properties back in April, then Trump sued claiming privilege.
They took a few months with a "special master" appointed by the court to determine which evidence was admissable.

Some juicy tidbits in here or should I say a plethora of dots? Mmmmmmm, dots. A dem senate seat from Texas would be s pretty juicy dot to consume, dontcha think?
Is the 48hours up yet? For now let's ignore Cohen's Senate testimony and focus on the plea agreement. Here are a few things that I'm sure most of the AMT intelligentsia already know about campaign finance laws, the rule of law and how some pertain to POTUS. I'll go through them anyway. Per the plea agreement that I posted somewhere in here, the two counts that potentially implicate Trump are counts 7 and 8, both having to do with campaign finance laws. Note: think of campaign finance laws as parking tickets for not paying the meter. (Bonus question? Which POTUS accumulated the highest amount of "parking tickets" ever?) In count 7, (woman 1 McDougall) corporation 1 is American Media Inc, parent company of the National Enquire (yup that one!) According to FEC law, in order to violate campaign finance laws the corporation must be a federally chartered company. Unfortunately, AMI is not a federally chartered company, it is simply a Delaware corp. Does the payment by Cohen to the National Enquire qualify as a campaign finance violation? Payment to woman 2 (Stormy!) was made by the Trump Organization to Cohen via phony invoices. I'm not sure who executive 1 and 2 are in the Trump Org but I'm fairly certain Trump Org is not a federally chartered company. I believe it is a private real estate company. Is the Stormy payment subject to FEC campaign finance laws? Okay if count 7 and 8 are easily defended (see USA v John Reid Edwards) then what about the two Aiding and Abetting charges? Unfortunately, aiding and abetting is commonly thought of as an offense in and of itself, but unfortunately it is not an independent crime under
18 U.S.C. § 2. Without count 7 and 8 there cannot be aiding and abetting. So what does all this mean you ask? It sure seems like Cohen, a lawyer, pled guilty to made up crimes or crimes that could have been easily defended against most of which has the favor of legal precedent. Why would he plea out? Hmmm. Here's a thought, you like Burger King? What BK? What's BK have to do with this??? 65 years or 3... Have it your way!

3D spinning and spinning and spinning. Keep spinning and D’ing, yo! You focused on 2 of 8 and while you reference the indictments you conveniently can’t find, you really should read the plea deal and consider them together, in context. There’s a whole lot of conditions and expectations in that document as well as acknowledging his guilt, forfeiting the right to appeal and leaving sentencing up to the court regardless of which sides’ sentencing guidelines are followed. 3D trying to make it sound tricky or nefarious to distract from what by now should be obvious, Team Mueller is going after Team Trump Treason as RICO. And I don’t mean Puerto or Ricardo. Now go have a Big Mac for BK as you go to the post office to mail the poster and Western Union the rubles.
Hey 3D, five questions for you and if you answer correctly, I’ll send you a happy meal and a box of Dots, movie size:
What was Michael Cohen’s profession when he was arrested? Who did he work for? hint: “Only the best people folks, only the best people.” How many times did the Teflon Don skate on charges? Who was the prosecution’s DA? And who does he now work for? Hint: “Only the best people folks, only the best people.”
Lets assume Trump is somehow guilty by association or just flat out guilty of whatever our resident Russia obsessed road scholar dreams up in between posts.
The "crimes" were committed by candidate Trump not POTUS Trump. 1. Can a POTUS be impeached for "crimes" he committed while not POTUS? 2. Can a sitting POTUS be indicted?
Let's look at counts 1 thru 6 since those caught the attention of the resident Russia obsessed road scholar....shall we Tax evasion and falsifying loan documents. Here is where metaphorically speaking, the rubber hits the road scholar. What do these have to do with Trump? Russia Russia Russia?

Our resident russia, russia, russia defender and collusion (say it 7Xs) denier dismisses a key component of Team Mueller's charge, namely:
(ii) any matters that arose or may arise directly from the investigation; and
(iii) any other matters within the scope of 28 C.F.R. § 600.4(a).
I'll give you two happy meal toys if you can name the issue that the Clinton impeachment began with and for an extra present, what it ended with? You know the one, the one, Lindsey, "I weigh more than a and I like it with brown sugar" Graham stated was necessary to restore honor and prestige to the Oval Office. You also know the one, where he claimed that the law didn't need to be broken for a president to be removed from office for such scurrilous behavior? Also, has Team Mueller concluded his investigation and issued a report? Do you not think that Cohen is going to provide the goods on a Team Trump Treason RICO? See the bolded part above skolar. Oh, and Cohen pleaded guilty to counts 1-8.

"Crimes" are "crimes." 1. yes. 2. yes. Mail the poster and wire the rubles.

Yes and Yes. It may not be Russia that takes him down, but his idiotic ass will be taken down.
Those questions are important when trying to understand what leverage the prosecutors had to compel Cohen to implicate Trump? Why would Cohen cop a plea to those two made up crimes (7 and 8)? "my wife, my daughter and my son, and this country have my first loyalty.” Look at counts 1-6, tax evasion and filling false reports, statements to lending institutions. His wife signed those docs too although she is not named as a defendant. Wonder why?
